Cassidy’s current film project she wrote, the feature Screenplay titled,
THE TOUGHEST GIRLS, inspired by the true story of Dawn-Marie Wesley, which was featured on the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW, CNN’s “AC 360 with ANDERSON COOPER”, and the “JOHN WALSH SHOW”, is currently being shopped at studios for production.

THE TOUGHEST GIRLS tells the compelling, powerful and emotional true story of the bullycide of Dawn-Marie Wesley. The horrific incident sparked national outrage, fueling an unprecedented investigation by Canada’s Crown, which led to a revolutionary and landmark court case in the nation of Canada.

Rats & Bullies

Cassidy’s award-winning Documentary Film, “RATS & BULLIES”, which deals with teen bullying, teen aggression, and bullycide, and which provides solutions to schools and parents for how to deal with bullying, is currently being set for distribution.

As mentioned in “Variety” and “The Hollywood Reporter”, Cassidy was honored by the WOMEN IN FILM Organization for the Film, winning their prestigious WOMEN IN FILM Film Finishing Fund Award.
